Most of us know by now that we can receive many health benefits by drinking water throughout our day. Did you know that drinking water may also help us maintain a healthy weight.

Substituting water for one 20-ounce sugar sweetened soda will save you about 240 calories. Doing that 4 times a day can save you almost 1,000 calories.

Here’s another benefit to drinking water if you are trying to watch your weight. If you drink enough water, your stomach will produce a sensation of fullness which will make you want to eat less and reduce the amount of calories that you eat compared to filling your stomach with food. Try drinking at least 8 oz of water before each meal to fill up
